ACOTAR TV Show News: Showrunner Ronald D. Moore is no longer working on TV Adaptation

THANH VY VUONG

Hi fellows, we’re back to bring you a new update on TV adaptation of A Court of Thorns and Roses. Following the Entertainment Weekly video on last Thursday, Ronald D. Moore has admitted to exit the project as showrunner as he didn't have any other updates to offer about Hulu's TV adaptation of Sarah J. Maas' romantasy book series.

"A Court of Thorns and Roses," published in 2015 by Sarah J. Maas, is the first book in a popular fantasy series. It follows Feyre, a 19-year-old huntress who kills a wolf and is taken to the Fae realm of Prythian as punishment. There, she discovers her captor, Tamlin, is a High Fae, and their relationship evolves into a complex romance. As Feyre navigates the dangers of this magical world, she must confront a powerful evil threatening both the Fae and human realms. There are four more books in the ACOTAR series. The original trilogy includes "A Court of Mist and Fury" (2016) and "A Court of Wings and Ruin" (2017), followed by a novella "A Court of Frost and Starlight" (2018), and a continuation with "A Court of Silver Flames" (2021). The first book was a huge hit at the time. The series has gained a massive following and critical acclaim, making it a cornerstone of modern fantasy literature.

In 2021, Hulu began adapting the beloved fantasy series "A Court of Thorns and Roses" into a live-action TV show. Maas has been co-creating the series with Ronald D. Moore. This adaptation has promised to stay true to the book. However, since then, there haven't been much information about the TV adaptation's progress. The news that Ronald Moore is no longer the showrunner adds to the uncertainty, leaving ACOTAR fans anxious about the project's realization.

Nonetheless, we should remain optimistic, as this could be a step back to prepare for a greater leap forward. We'll keep you updated with the latest information.

In the meantime, if you have time, reread the fantastic ACOTAR series and maybe explore The Bean Workshop's officially licensed collection on Sarah J Maas books; you might find your new favorite item.

Let's look forward to enjoying the show together.
