A powerful prayer of mercy for the Holy Souls.

Pray for the souls in Purgatory with one of the most beloved intercessory prayers in the Catholic tradition. This beautifully designed card features a stunning classic painting of the Holy Trinity with Souls in Purgatory — God the Father, Christ, and the Holy Spirit as a dove above, with souls reaching upward from below in a scene of divine mercy and hope — set in a delicate scalloped floral oval frame on the front, and the full Prayer of St. Gertrude framed in a charming colorful wildflower wreath on the back, all set against a warm beige plaid background.

According to tradition, St. Gertrude the Great received a promise that this prayer, said with devotion, would release 1,000 souls from Purgatory each time it is prayed. A profound and generous act of charity for the faithful departed. Slim enough to tuck into a Bible, prayer book, or journal, it makes a meaningful gift for All Souls' Day, funerals, memorial occasions, or anyone with a devotion to the Holy Souls.

  • Classic Holy Trinity with Souls in Purgatory painting in a scalloped floral oval frame
  • Full Prayer of St. Gertrude in a colorful wildflower wreath on the reverse
  • Warm beige plaid background — understated and elegant
  • Bookmark-sized — perfect for Bibles, prayer books, and journals
  • Rooted in the tradition of St. Gertrude the Great, mystic and Doctor of the Church
  • Meaningful gift for All Souls' Day, funerals, memorials, and devotion to the Holy Souls

    Care Instruction

Our prayer cards are printed on quality cardstock and crafted to be a lasting keepsake of faith. To keep yours looking its best:

    • Keep it dry — avoid exposure to water or humidity, which can warp or soften the card.
    • Store flat — when not in use, store your card flat or tucked inside a book to prevent bending or creasing.
    • Avoid direct sunlight — prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause colors to fade over time.
    • Handle with care — for a longer life, handle by the edges and avoid folding.

With a little care, your prayer card will remain a beautiful reminder of faith for years to come.
