ACOTAR Is Getting Its Own Monopoly Game
THANH VY VUONGShare
Hello, lovely reader 🏹✨
Board game night is about to get a very romantasy upgrade. If you've spent the last few years quietly (or not so quietly) obsessed with the Night Court, mark your calendar — Prythian is coming to your coffee table.

🎲 What's Actually Happening
Hasbro has officially announced Monopoly: A Court of Thorns and Roses Edition, built around the first three books in Sarah J. Maas's bestselling series. Instead of the usual streets and railroads, players travel across the Seven Courts, trading locations pulled straight from the pages — think the Spring Court, the Night Court's capital of Velaris, and even the infamous cabin from A Court of Mist and Fury.
The game swaps traditional cash for "Marks," the currency used in the books, and replaces houses and hotels with Manors and Palaces. Chance and Community Chest cards become Suriel's Truths and the Book of Breathings, both filled with references longtime readers will recognise instantly. Players also choose from themed tokens — Illyrian wings, Feyre's bow, the Cauldron, and more.

🗓️ When You Can Get It![]()
The game launches October 1, 2026, with two versions available: a standard edition and a special Amazon-exclusive edition featuring premium, book-style packaging (the kind that would look right at home next to your special editions on the shelf). Pre-orders are already open.
💬 Why This One Feels Different
Licensed board games come and go, but this one seems built with actual readers in mind — down to the property names and the mature themes fans will recognise from the world of Prythian. It's less "generic tie-in" and more a genuine love letter to the fandom, which might explain why it's already causing a stir across BookTok.
☕ A Little Something for Your Own Game Night
Whether you're planning a full ACOTAR-themed game night with this one or just adding it to your collection, a cosy reading corner never hurts — a soft blanket, a good mug, and maybe a page-marked TBR pile within reach. Our Reading Essentials are built for exactly these kinds of evenings.
We'll be keeping an eye on this one as more details roll in — including any additional editions or reveals closer to launch.
With love, The Bean Workshop 🫘
