Romantasy BookCon Orlando 2025: We're Coming Back - with New Designs, Big Feelings & a Tiny Surprise

Walking into BookCon 2024 felt like stepping through a portal—suddenly we were surrounded by readers who speak our language: dog-eared paperbacks, gasp-worthy plot twists, and OTPs we’ll defend with dragon fire. We met vendors who’ve turned their fandom into craft, customers who became instant friends, and cosplayers who were their favorite characters for a day. We traded recs, teared up over comfort reads, and squealed over sprayed edges. It was the first time The Bean Workshop introduced our designs to that many romantasy lovers at once - and your reactions still live rent-free in our heart. Last year changed us in the best way - the bookish way.

Where to find us this year

We’re back in Orlando, October 23–25, 2025 at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista – Disney Springs Area (1751 Hotel Plaza Blvd, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830). Two author spotlights we're extra giddy about

Elise Kova — We had the joy of collaborating with Elise and meeting her last year, and she’s back in Orlando this fall! Her worlds blend elemental magic, tender romance, and high-stakes adventure—the kind of stories that make you miss your bus stop. If you love found family, slow-burn tension, and richly built magic systems, you’ll feel right at home at her table.

Rebecca Yarros — A powerhouse of the romantasy community whose Empyrean series made an entire generation of readers crave flight lessons. Rebecca will take part in Friday programming on Oct 24 at the con, with a special (optional) Disney add-on event that evening—so if she’s a must-meet for you, plan Friday accordingly.

We're showcasing our officially licensed designs and merch collections—new drops inspired by the stories we can’t stop talking about, plus fan-favorite restocks. We love turning reader feedback into better products, so please swing by, try things on, touch the fabrics, and tell us what you think. Your reviews help our team refine sizing, finishes, and packaging so everything feels as magical as the books that inspired them.
