• The Ashes and the Star-Cursed King (2023) - Introducing the main characters of Six Scorched Roses as side characters. A crown hangs in the balance as rivals clash, and the cost of power becomes devastating.
•  Slaying the Vampire Conqueror (2023- Full length) - A warrior seeks revenge on the vampire warlord who conquered her people, but unexpected passion complicates her mission. The characters will turn up again later in the main Crowns of Nyaxia series.
• The Songbird and the Heart of Stone (2024) - A devout Sun God follower turned vampire, forms a tense alliance with a scarred bastard prince, to revive the God of Death in the underworld. Yet, one has a secret mission to betray the other and slay the very deity they seek tests their trust, forcing them to confront dangerous trials, forbidden desires, and the fragile line between redemption and damnation.

If you’re new to Carissa Broadbent, we’d recommend starting with The War of Lost Hearts series—it’s a little more accessible for those stepping into her world for the first time. However, if you’ve already dipped your toes into fantasy with darker themes, The Crowns of Nyaxia will hook you immediately. You could also mix things up and read both series concurrently, especially since they offer different vibes but are equally captivating!
